Install the Memory Card<\/b><\/strong><\/p>

Please make sure the Dash Cam is not powered on first. Insert the memory card half way in (refer to the silkscreen printed pattern beside the memory card\u00a0slot) and use the finger nail or a paper clip to push the card all the way inward until it clicks and locks in place.<\/p>

Remove the Memory Card<\/b><\/strong><\/p>

To remove the memory card, gently push its edge inward until it clicks and pops out, and then\u00a0simply pull it out of the slot.<\/p>

Notes:<\/p>

  • Please purchase a memory card separately and make sure to use a branded Micro-SD card with capacity of up to 256GB.<\/li>
  • Before first time use, please format the memory card to prevent any errors and for smooth operation.<\/li>

    Dash Cam Installation <\/h3><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t<\/path><\/svg><\/span>\n\t\t\t<\/path><\/svg><\/span>\n\t\t<\/span>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/summary>\n\t\t\t\t

    The wiring and power-taking installation method of the Dash Cam\u00a0include the following three\u00a0types. You can scan the QR code below for reference.<\/p>

    • <\/b>Cigarette Lighter Power Supply<\/b><\/strong><\/li><\/ul>

      Insert the car charger into the cigarette lighter, and connect the car charger and the Dash Cam\u00a0through the power cord. Most of the power cord will be embedded in the plastic guard plate of the car, and a small part will be exposed in the car. This wiring method is simple and easy to operate.<\/p>

      Step 1: Wipe the front windshield<\/b><\/strong><\/p>

      Wipe the front windshield with a clean soft cloth to ensure that the bracket can stick firmly.<\/p>

      Step <\/b><\/strong>2<\/b><\/strong>: Power on the <\/b><\/strong>Dash Cam<\/b><\/strong><\/p>

      After inserting the car charger into the cigarette lighter, connect the Dash Cam\u00a0to the car charger using the\u00a0included\u00a0Type-C power cord.<\/p>

      After the car starts, the Dash Cam\u00a0will automatically start when it is powered on, and the start-up prompt tone “Hello, DDPAI” will be issued, and the Dash Cam\u00a0will start recording at this time.<\/p>

      Step <\/b><\/strong>3<\/b><\/strong>: Determine the installation position of the <\/b><\/strong>Dash Cam<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0and adjust the lens angle<\/b><\/strong><\/p>

      \u2460\u00a0Please refer to Chapter 3 A<\/i><\/b><\/em><\/strong>pp<\/i><\/b><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0Connection<\/i><\/b><\/em><\/strong> to\u00a0connect the Dash Cam to your mobile phone. Then launch the app, enter the preview interface of the DDPAI app, tap \u201cDevice Settings\u201d\u00a0> \u00a0\u201cADAS intelligent assistance reminder\u201d\u00a0> \u201cAdjust ADAS installation position\u201d.<\/p>

      \u00a0<\/p>

      \u2461 Select \u201cGo to live preview\u201d>\u201cEnter live preview\u201dto enter the calibration interface. Then you will see the on-screen instructions to assist with installation, according which the installation position of the dash cam is located.<\/p>

      \"\"<\/p>

      \u2462\u00a0After completing the installation, tap \u201cCalibration completed\u201d.<\/p>

      \"\"<\/p>

      Step <\/b><\/strong>4<\/b><\/strong>: Stab<\/b><\/strong>i<\/b><\/strong>lize the <\/b><\/strong>Dash Cam<\/b><\/strong><\/p>

      \u2460\u00a0After determining the installation position of the Dash Cam, attach the electrostatic sticker to the installation position.<\/p>

      \u2461 Peel off the film of the 3M sticker on the bracket, and stick the bracket to the center of the electrostatic sticker.<\/p>

      Note\uff1a<\/p>

      Please pay attention to the direction and position when attaching the 3M sticker which is a disposable item. Please confirm that the recording angle of the Dash Cam\u00a0is correct before attaching.<\/p>

      Step <\/b><\/strong>5<\/b><\/strong>: Wiring<\/b><\/strong><\/p>

      As shown in the following figure, please place the power cord from the cigarette lighter receptacle\u00a0to the fixed position of the Dash Cam, and hide the power cord in the plastic guard plate of the car by using the\u00a0crowbar.<\/p>

      Note:<\/p>

      The cigarette lighter receptacle might be positioned differently in your car. The figure above\u00a0is provided for reference only.<\/p>

      • <\/b>Connect the <\/b><\/strong>F<\/b><\/strong>use <\/b><\/strong>B<\/b><\/strong>ox (<\/b><\/strong>Intelligent Hardwire Kit <\/b><\/strong>is <\/b><\/strong>R<\/b><\/strong>equired)<\/b><\/strong><\/li><\/ul>

        This wiring method ensures neatness and beauty in the car, and\u00a0enables parking monitoring function at the same time. However, the wiring process is complicated. To avoid vehicle damage due to improper operation, please have the installation completed at a professional automobile service shop.<\/p>

        The intelligent hardwire kit\u00a0needs to be purchased separately or by purchasing a package including the step-down cable.<\/p>

        • <\/b>Connect the OBD Interface (OBD Power Cable is Required)<\/b><\/strong><\/li><\/ul>

          This wiring method\u00a0is easy for operation and can also realize the parking monitoring function.<\/p>

          Step 1: <\/b><\/strong>Plug the\u00a0Type-C connector of the OBD\u00a0power cable into the Type-C port of the Dash Cam.<\/p>

          Step 2<\/b><\/strong>: Connect the other end of the OBD\u00a0power cable to the OBD port of the vehicle.<\/p>

            Step 3: <\/b><\/strong>Insert the rear power cable fully into the\u00a0headphone jack.<\/p>

            Please make sure that the power cable is fully plugged into the jack, if not, the rear camera indicator will not on, and the rear camera will not work.<\/p>

            Step 4: <\/b><\/strong>Route the rear power cable from the Dash Cam\u00a0to the rear camera, cable routing is shown in the figure above.<\/p>

            Step 5: <\/b><\/strong>Remove the red backing film of the adhesive\u00a0sticker, and adjust the field of view of the rear camera, then fix the rear camera to the inner wall of the rear windshield.<\/p>
